Rosegreen 4-16, Eire Og Annacarty 3-18.

Rosegreen's last quarter surge proved enough to earn victory over Eire Og Annacarty in this dramatic Junior B Championship match in Annacarty. This defeat effectively ends Eire Og's interest in the 2020 championship.

What will gall the home side is that they made a flying start inside the opening 12 minutes, landing 1-06 to a solitary pointed free from Rosegreen, Cian Mooney the Eire Og goal scorer. In the minutes leading to the first half water break, the visitors turned the game on it's head with three goals inside as many minutes. After the water break, Eire Og edged back in front thanks to a Paidi Bradshaw goal, however Rosegreen stayed in touch and finished the half stronger to reel in the Eire Og to the minimum, 2-09 to 3-05 at the half-time interval.

After the teams shared the opening four points inside the first five minutes of the 2nd half, Paidi Bradshaw had his 2nd goal after a pass from Cian Mooney, leaving 4 points between the sides. Tommy Quinn & Mike Buckley added further points to extend the lead to 6 by the 38th minute. The visitors had other ideas as they gradually whittled down Eire Og's lead to the minimum after gaoling a penalty with 10 minutes remaining. Paidi Bradshaw kept the scoreboard ticking over with pointed frees for Eire Og as they struggled against the resurgent Rosegreen comeback. After a flare-up in the closing stages which saw both sides reduced to 14 men, the visitors finally hit the front with a brace of frees to emerge dramatic winners, 4-16 to 3-18 at Fergal Horgan's full-time whistle. Leading performers for Eire Og were Eoin Kennedy, Philip McGrath, Stephen McDonald, Cian Mooney and leading scorer Paidi Bradshaw.
